How Does StemWave Work?

Stemwave therapy works by distributing shockwave topically to reach a patient’s injured tissues. This process stimulates the body’s natural healing processes and kick starts healing as well as stimulates and activates resident stem cells. What can you expect during a Stemwave treatment?

Stemwave treatment will be quick and easy. Our doctor will conduct an interactive consultation to discuss more about Stemwave, your goals, and expectations regarding your specific care. At the start of your treatment, we utilized the device as a diagnostic tool over the injured area to identify the primary locations of pain. Once located, we focus the remainder of the treatment towards that area to ensure we maximize the positive biological effect. The treatment itself can be conducted in less than 10 minutes.

Subsequent treatments

Although some patients feel immediate improvement after their first visit, this is not a “one and done” treatment solution. Subsequent treatments are required to further the healing process and achieve lasting results. Based upon your specific goals and expectations your doctor will provide a recommended care plan that best suits your needs.

Care plans

Care plans commonly range between 8 – 12 treatments. Patients typically experience significant progress after 3-4 treatments; however, we often see a noticeable improvement even after the first treatment.

Dr. Brad and his entire staff are great! I have had pain in my back for years and had been seeing a chiropractor out of state before we moved here.
